We’ve just come back to earth after One Movement in Perth where we collaborated with Raghu Dixit and his band of merry men. We wrote a new song called ‘Walk In My Shoes’ and busted out a new Bollywood stylin’ version of Beat and Holler. Too much fun!

We had a great response to our festival gig and now we can’t wait to get out and play our special headline set for you all. Tickets are rolling out the door, so if you haven’t snapped yours up yet, don’t delay.

First stop is Adelaide with Xavier Rudd at the Thebarton Theatre (October 27) before the Beat and Holler headline tour kicks off at The Vanguard in Sydney on Thursday, October 28. We play the Brass Monkey on Friday, October 29 and then head north to party in Brisvegas on Saturday, October 30. Check our shows page for details.

We kick off with a special show at Perth’s One Movement Music Festival THIS Friday. It’s a great line-up of twilighters including Sarah McLachlan, Paul Kelly and Kate Miller-Heidke. We’re in the Big Top at 8.05pm. Come on down westsiders.

Really looking forward to our songwriting blind date with Raghu Dixit for One Movement too. Hilariously it’s now not such a blind date as we bumped into each other at Perth Airport as he was arriving from India and I was returning from Broome – a fortuitous meeting and good omens for a collaboration I reckon!

Then it’s off to Adelaide for a show with Xavier Rudd (just announced!) on October 27 at the Thebarton Theatre – very exciting addition to our Beat and Holler Tour.

Our headline dates see us traipsing from Sydney to Brisbane, Freo, Melbourne and Adelaide with some killer festivals – Mullum Fest, AWME and Queenscliff – in the middle to keep our festy feet stomping.

I’m refreshed and rejuvenated after some Broome soulshine and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with all you folk, both newbies and oldies. This is going to be a special one. Tickets are already selling fast and we have been overwhelmed by the positive response to the album and our recent live shows so don’t miss out.

And, remember…you have just one month to get rolling on your Beat and Holler comp entries. We are gearing up for a house concert to end all house concerts and we wanna come to you!

Our tour with The Cat Empire kick starts THIS Saturday night at the Amphitheatre as part of the Darwin Festival. All you NT crew come on down to dance under the stars with us! It will be a beautiful way to start the national tour. Darwin holds a special place in our hearts. I’m also really honoured to be playing at the launch of OUR GENERATION, a beautiful film about Indigenous Australians made by Sinem Saban and Damian Curtis. I’m playing alongside Shellie Morris and Shane Howard at the Deckchair Cinema in Darwin and I encourage you all to come and see this amazing film on Monday, August 16 from 6pm.

We’re in Melbourne next week and to celebrate the launch of the album, we’re playing an instore performance on Friday, August 20 at 12.45pm at Basement Discs (24 Block Place in the city). We’ll be playing a few tunes and hanging around for a chat and a signing sesh, so come on down and say hello.
