To My Table Now Available

Greetings from fair Europa where we have just finished a run of shows with the awe-inspiring Gurrumul. WOW!

Thank you for having us fair Parisians, what an amazing time we had. Cafe de la Danse was such a gorgeous venue, so intimate and cosy and the audiences welcomed us so warmly. We felt privileged to share our music and stories (in English, peppered with the odd embarrassingly bad French phrases!) with such enthusiastic smiling faces. Merci beaucoup.

We lapped up the beautiful sights – not to mention the beautiful people! – and fell in love with the cafes, parks and cobble-stoned streets once again. Here’s hoping it won’t be too long before we return.

Had a great time at the airport on the way back finding our own little satisfying loop holes in the excess luggage system!  Oh the small joys. As you will see in the photos we were forced to join our pieces together to adhere to their policies and avoid being slugged hard with excess charges. It really is the little things on tour that make you feel elated! We won a little battle – we little Davids against the Goliath that is British Airways! (OK, backing away from the keyboard…Air rage kicking in…airport overload!)

We’re now on a bus bound for Southampton for our second UK show with The John Butler Trio. Dublin was an absolute blast and our London finale corresponds with the release of our next single – To My Table – on April 14. Very exciting. It’ll be up on iTunes in all its swaggering, swampy soul, so be sure to check it out.
